Aim
Find the roles that actually fit you: your expertise × your interests × where the market is. You leave with a short, sharp target list. The opposite of spray-and-pray.
Two hundred applications. Two replies. If that is your inbox, nothing is wrong with you. Your experience is arriving untranslated. That is a fixable problem, and you build the fix with AI in one day.
The worst part is not the no. It is the nothing. Nobody teaches you the real rules of hiring here. Learn the rules once, and fix it yourself, for good.
Give it a job posting, your resume, and a company. It builds a page that pitches you for that exact role, in the company's own brand. The person hiring stops reading a stranger and starts seeing a colleague. One of the five things you build.
These are real, built with the same kit. Open them and judge for yourself.
My family left El Salvador during the civil war when I was three. I grew up in Canada watching my parents rebuild from zero. So I know exactly what it costs to start over in a country that does not yet know what you are worth.
I won't pretend I broke into this market as a foreign-trained newcomer. I didn't. I have spent my career on the other side of the table: hiring product people, and mentoring hundreds of international builders through this exact transition. I know what gets someone hired here, because I am one of the people who decides.
Today I am a Director of Product, Design & MarTech at Air Canada | Aeroplan, leading a team of 45+ people. I teach at BrainStation, I have been an industry advisor and mentor at Queen's Smith School of Business, and I give keynotes on product and AI. Your experience is not worth less here. It is just untranslated. This curriculum is the translation layer: the specific moves that actually work in US and Canada tech companies.
A resume does not get you a job. At best it gets you read. What gets you hired is the whole system: the right targets, a name people can find, relationships that stay warm, and the words for every room. Build it once. It is yours.
Stop sending applications that get no reply. Build a system that makes the right people come to you. You bring the judgment. AI does the busywork.
Find the roles that actually fit you: your expertise × your interests × where the market is. You leave with a short, sharp target list. The opposite of spray-and-pray.
Become the person people associate with one thing. Show the work you are already doing, in one lane, until the right people come to you instead of you chasing them.
Resumes and portfolios targeted to your list. Built to translate your experience into what North American hiring teams recognize, and to land the interview.
Get to know people properly and be useful before you need anything, so people remember you when a door opens. We build your relationship engine: thoughtful at scale, never mechanical.
A coffee chat does not get you a job, and that was never the point. If you only show up when you need something, people can feel it. Be useful first, stay in touch, and a wide circle that remembers you beats a small circle you exhaust.
Every round has a different goal. The person across the table is your user. Learn what each one needs to hear.
"Are you real, and can we afford you?"
The salary question comes early and it is where most people quietly lose money. Learn how to handle it without ruling yourself out.
"Can you solve the problem I live with every day?"
Learn their pain before the call. Show them you have solved it before.
"Would we enjoy working with you?"
Ask real questions about their work. Curiosity beats a pitch.
"How do you think under pressure?"
Think out loud. Structure first, then decide, then say why.
"Do you see the bigger picture?"
Talk outcomes and trade-offs, not tasks. Show how you decide, not just what you did.
"We would like to make you an offer."
Do not just say yes. The first number is a starting point, not a gift. This is where thousands are won.
Paste a job posting and a name. Get their persona and your prep sheet for that exact room. You build it in the 2:50 block.
For the day the offer lands. Read the package, set your anchor, write the counter, and rehearse the call before you make it.
I have sat on the hiring side of many offers. The first number is rarely the last. See the full day ↓
Four pillars, four things you actually build. We use AI to make your job-search machine, not to mass-produce the spam that gets ignored. This is how I work, and you will leave with your system running.
Expertise × interests × market, mapped in Claude Code into a living target list of the roles worth your time.
A second brain that captures your work, your wins, and your voice, then helps you post about it. Day one is the setup. After that, it grows.
A resume and portfolio pipeline that tailors every application to its target. Each one lands 10× harder than a cold send.
Your relationship engine: remember people properly, what they care about, what they are working on, and when to be useful again. Thoughtful at scale, never mechanical.
He helped me throughout my job search journey, and I have secured interviews from FAANG. He not only helped me with Product management preparation, but also constantly motivated me throughout the process.HasikaaProduct Operations Manager
Networking is about relationships, not transactions: the ROI shows up later, not immediately. Treat interviews as practice, not pass/fail: every round teaches you something. Jose, talking with you was genuinely helpful, thank you for the perspective!LeahProduct Designer
Over the past few months I went from commercial PM to building Flowwise, a live AI-powered fintech app, from scratch. From user research and product strategy to a live interactive prototype, this program pushed me to think differently. A huge thank you to my instructor Jose Platero for his guidance, feedback, and genuine investment in our growth.ChelseaProduct Manager
Six hours, four builds, one working system. Every block starts from a kit I spent months building, so your time goes into making it yours, not starting from zero.
Your expertise, your interests, and the market, mapped together. We set up Claude Code and build your targeting system first, because everything else depends on it.
Your second brain, set up to document your journey: a profile aimed at your targets, posts drafted in your own voice, and a LinkedIn strategy built on real conversations, not broadcasting.
The networking pillar starts here, in practice.
Resume and portfolio, rebuilt through a hiring director's eyes. Then we wire your application engine so every future application tailors itself to its target.
Most people only reach out when they need something. That is why it does not work. You build a way to genuinely know the people you meet, what matters to them and what they are working on, so you can be useful long before you need anything.
The interview loop, mapped: what HR, the hiring manager, the team, the panel, and the leadership round each want from you. Then you run the Interviewer Profiler on a real role: paste the job and the person, and build their persona plus your prep guide for that exact room.
You send your first real application through your new system, add the first ten people to your warm circle, and write your plan for week one. The system leaves the room running.
Because you treat every round like the same interview. It is not. HR asks: are you safe to pass along. The manager asks: can you own this. The panel asks: do I want to work with you every day. One script cannot answer three different questions. Learn the rooms.
Try the system for $25 online, or come to Toronto on Nov 7 and leave with the whole thing running. A resume writer charges more than this for one document. This is the whole system, and it stays yours.
